    Job Description

    Insight global is looking for a passionate and seasoned Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to elevate our engineering team. As an SDET, you'll be instrumental in ensuring our software products are of the highest quality and reliability. You will have experience within UI automation utilizing typescript, Javascript and python for development. You will have experience testing on a range of devices including mobile, TV devices, streaming devices etc. You will be a vital part of the development team, advocating for top-tier test methodologies and best practices, providing feedback on developer-authored tests, and expanding automated test coverage with comprehensive end-to-end system-level tests.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - 5+ years of experience in an SDET role supporting consumer facing devices and UI Automation

     

    - Experience using JavaScript, TypeScript AND Python

     

    - Strong experience with test automation tools and frameworks Selenium, Appium and Cypress

     

    - Experience with GITHub and GITLab

     

    - Performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)

     

    - Solid understanding of software development methodologies- Agile and Scrum

    - Testing on consumer devices is a huge plus Mobile, Video Players, TV devices, Roku null
