    Key job responsibilities

    As a key member of our team, you'll architect and develop large-scale distributed data systems that form the backbone of our seller analytics platform. Your primary focus will be driving organization-wide data solutions that ensure consistency, reliability, and accessibility across all our applications.

     

    You'll lead efforts to establish federated data architectures and standardized data models that seamlessly serve multiple use cases - from powering real-time UI dashboards to enabling sophisticated ML models. This includes building robust data pipelines, implementing quality frameworks, and designing efficient data access patterns that scale across our organization.

     

    Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll understand diverse data requirements and deliver solutions that maintain high data quality and availability. Your expertise will be crucial in evaluating and implementing new technologies to enhance our data infrastructure, while mentoring junior engineers in data engineering best practices.

     

    Experience with full-stack development, distributed systems, and machine learning will be valuable as you work across various layers of our technology stack to ensure end-to-end data excellence.

    About the team

    The Selling Partner Growth organization is a growing business-tech team, focused on accelerating the growth of Selling Partners (Vendors and Sellers) by providing analytics tools, actionable insights and recommendations that enable them to make better and faster decisions at each step of their business journey. Our Selling Partners (SPs) are both small and large businesses, who rely on success on Amazon for their livelihood. We build software solutions with established SPs in mind and make these solutions available to all SPs WW.

    Basic Qualifications

    - 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

     

    - 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

     

    - Experience programming with at least one software programming language

     

    - Bachelor's degree or equivalent

    Preferred Qualifications

    - 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

     

    - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
