Lab Site Supervisor / LT Boulder Community Health, Boulder, CO 80303 $19.39 - $29.09 an hour - Full-Time, 40 hours per week +$2.50/hr for evening and weekend shifts. Not all decisions can or should be made by committee but certainly input is important when warranted. •Support laboratory team unconditionally in public and discuss opportunities for improvement with appropriate individuals, privately •Serve as a mentor for staff. •Provide leadership for identification, initiation and follow up for conflict resolution. •Establish communication lines so that information gets to employees quickly and efficiently. •Ensure sufficient staffing. •Monitor staffing patterns to suggest changes that will streamline operation and effectiveness. •Analyze and refine processes throughout the Laboratory. •Keeps a constant eye on operations paying special attention to areas that may be changed or streamlined to reduce process inefficiencies •Inspect areas daily for compliance with policies, procedures, regulations, and standards and take corrective action when violations occur. •Ensure that the department meets all OSHA and other safety guidelines as defined by the laboratory and hospital safety policies. •Ensure that all records are kept for an appropriate amount of time and are appropriately labeled to allow for timely disposal. •Assist in planning department goals and objectives with manager to support the Laboratory and hospital plan. •Understand role as supervisor and effectively support and communicate decisions. Support common laboratory vision, strategic plan and/or goals without exception •Work with physician office staff and other departments to strengthen relations and improve customer service. •Oversee, resolve, and evaluate customer feedback. •Ensure that changes in the department which affect other areas of the hospital are effectively communicated through the use of the hospital newsletter and in-services, as necessary About Boulder Community Health and Boulder, Colorado Boulder Community Health (BCH) is a not-for-profit healthcare organization based in Boulder, Colorado.
