    Description

    A Portland firm specializing in land use, real estate, and environmental law is seeking a Land Use Attorney to join their team. The firm specializes in projects that shape the physical landscape and skyline of the area, serving a mix of private and public clients. Attorneys at the firm are also engaged as local counsel for clients with regional and national reach.

     

    This firm provides a supportive and flexible work environment, with mentorship for newer attorneys and clear pathways for long-term growth toward partnership.

    Key Responsibilities Include:

    + Advising clients on land use entitlements, zoning, permitting, and regulatory compliance.

    + Representing clients before agencies, planning commissions, and city councils.

    + Drafting and negotiating real estate transactional documents.

    + Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on development projects.

    + Serving as local counsel for regional and national clients.

    Salary and Benefits:

    The salary range for this position is dependent on experience, ranging from $140,000 to $200,000. Benefits include 100% medical, dental, and vision coverage; long-term disability/life insurance; flexible PTO; a 401(k) plan with a 3% contribution; and a discretionary profit-sharing bonus.

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    + Active attorney license in Oregon.

    + 3+ years of experience in land use, real estate, or environmental law.

    + Strong communication skills with a client-focused approach.

    + Interest in long-term growth and potential path to partnership.

    + Collaborative and entrepreneurial mindset.
