Description We are looking for a dedicated Office Assistant to join our healthcare team in Saint Paul, Minnesota. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our health center, ensuring a positive and productive environment for both staff and patients. This opportunity allows you to contribute to meaningful work in the healthcare industry while fostering collaboration and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative support to health center staff, promoting teamwork and a positive workplace culture.
• Assist the Health Center Manager in developing and executing plans that align with organizational goals and objectives.
• Monitor daily operations and promptly address barriers to quality performance and customer service.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, medical standards, and regulatory guidelines.
• Mentor staff to reinforce patient-centered service delivery and uphold high customer service standards.
• Participate in hiring, training, and ongoing development of health center staff.
• Conduct analyses to identify opportunities for operational improvements and assist in implementing solutions.
• Support clinic flow by performing non-licensed tasks such as front desk duties, patient rounding, stocking, and cleaning.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure the health center achieves organizational goals.
• Assume full operational accountability in the Health Center Manager’s absence. Requirements
• Proficiency in computer programs, MS Suite 365, Scheduling, and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
• Strong organizational and clerical skills, including answering inbound calls and managing inventory reports.
• Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
• Experience with intervention planning and addressing behavioral challenges.
• Ability to negotiate effectively and resolve issues with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with process improvement tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of healthcare standards and regulatory compliance.
• Capability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic team environment.
