Description
Central Delaware client is looking to hire an Assistant Treasurer with strong analytical and communication skills. The Assistant Treasurer will support the Treasurer and finance leadership in managing the organization’s treasury options, including cash management, banking relationships, debt compliance, investment activities, and risk management. This candidate will also integrate financial systems, perform internal control risk assessments, provide cash flow projections, create financial forecasts, research industry trends, and develop processes that will ensure the company is financially efficient. This role will ensure that sufficient liquidity is maintained, financial risks are mitigated, and treasury policies are implemented effectively.
Primary Duties
• Assist in managing day-to-day corporate treasury operations
• Monitor and manage company cash balances across multiple accounts and entities
• Assist with debt issuance, compliance, and reporting requirements
• Help manage short-term investments, ensuring adherence to investment policies
• Prepare treasury reports, dashboards, and metrics for senior management
• Participate in treasury system implementations and upgrades
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal controls
• Support insurance and risk management processes as needed
Requirements
The ideal Assistant Treasurer will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.
Other requirements for the Assistant Treasurer role include and are not limited to:
• 5-10 years of strong leadership experience
• MBA, CPA, or CTP a huge plus
• Strong financial reporting abilities
• Experience with treasury management systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Advanced Excel
• Excellent analytical skills
