    Description

    Nick Pignato is looking for a dedicated Payroll Specialist to join our corporate team in Scottsville, New York. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about ensuring payroll accuracy for a multi-state organization. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining payroll processes and supporting HR-related activities.

    Responsibilities:

    • Review timecards and commission statements to ensure weekly payroll for approximately 550 employees is processed accurately.

    • Enter payroll data into the payroll system, managing multiple payroll runs

    • Verify payroll reports to ensure precision and compliance with organizational standards.

    • Collaborate with the Human Resources team to provide support and maintain personnel records.

    • Input payroll data into accounting software to streamline financial processes.

    • Handle critical payroll tasks on Mondays and Tuesdays to meet deadlines.

    • Assist with various administrative duties as needed to support office operations.

     

    Requirements • At least 2 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in a multi-state environment.

     

    • Familiarity with Paylocity software is highly desirable.

    • Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under deadlines.

    • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

    • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and collaborate effectively within a team.

    • Previous experience with accounting software systems is a plus.
