    Description

    Are you passionate about securing systems, detecting vulnerabilities, and staying one step ahead of threats? We're looking for a Security Engineer to join our team and help build a resilient security infrastructure that protects our applications, data, and users.

     

    As a Security Engineer, you'll work cross-functionally with IT, DevOps, and engineering teams to implement best-in-class security practices across the organization. You’ll help us proactively identify risks, respond to incidents, and continuously improve our security posture.

    What You’ll Do:

    + Design and implement security systems and tools across infrastructure, applications, and endpoints

    + Conduct threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing

    + Monitor for suspicious activity and respond to incidents swiftly and effectively

    + Collaborate with engineering teams to embed security into the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps)

    + Research emerging threats and recommend mitigation strategies

    + Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, etc.)

    + Maintain documentation for security policies, procedures, and incident reports

    Requirements

    What You’ll Bring:

    + 3+ years of experience in information security, cyber defense, or related field

    + Strong knowledge of network and web application security

    + Experience with tools like SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners, and endpoint protection

    + Hands-on experience securing cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

    + Familiarity with secure coding practices and DevSecOps principles

    + Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

    + Relevant certifications a plus (e.g., CISSP, CEH, OSCP, Security+)

    Bonus Points:

    + Experience with compliance frameworks and audits

    + Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)

    + Experience with container security (Docker, Kubernetes)
