    You

    will collaborate with teammates in a safe, comfortable, climate-controlled environment

    to manufacture parts for large generators. The primary responsibility of this

    position is to fabricate components by following blueprints and instructions.

    HowYou’ll Make an Impact

    + Inspectparts to ensure quality standards are met. Operate machines, including setupand adjustments.

    + Utilizehand tools for various tasks such as building, forming, bending, punching,grinding, cutting, brazing, buffing, and welding.

    + Employtesting, electrical, and measurement equipment. Lift and transport parts andcomponents to different areas or machines.

    + Applysolutions to parts as per instructions. Use appliances, such as ovens, to bakeand cure parts. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, engineeringspecifications, and work package information to determine required operations.

    + Assembleand install parts according to instructions.

    + Troubleshootwelding issues (e.g., undercut, porosity, lack of fusion) and determine optimalwelder settings. Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment,including daily cleaning of your area.

    WhatYou Bring

    • Experience level is early professional; manufacturing

    experience is a plus but not required. A high school diploma

    or equivalent is preferred but not required.

     

    + ·Proficiencyin reading, writing, and comprehending English is essential to understand jobinstructions, follow warnings and safety signage, and communicate effectivelythrough written work instructions and team communications.

    + ·ModerateComputer Skills

     

    Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United

    States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work

    authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be

    eligible for internal transfers.

    Certifications

    + AWSGTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding) certification required including -

    + Successfully pass the 1G t-jointvisual/bend test.

    + Successfully pass the 4-G t-joint 10xmicroscopic test
