Job Description

We are looking for a **Senior** **Cybersecurity Engineer** to serve as a highly technical security expert, bringing security transformation to both new and legacy infrastructure. This position will be a **contract** and **onsite in Miramar, Florida.**

Due to the specific legal and contractual requirements associated with this position, only US Citizens and Green Card Holders/Permanent residents will be considered for this role. Candidates must be able to work directly on CAI's W2.

What You’ll Do

+ Serve as a highly technical security expert to bring security transformation to both new and legacy infrastructure

+ Deploy new technologies quickly and successfully transition new platforms to the Security Operations Team for ongoing support

+ Embed with project teams to understand complex architectures, apply correct security controls, and ensure they are governable in the future

+ Develop patterns and validate those patterns through engagement with business and lab work

+ Generate strategies that bring security ahead of business needs and provide proactive solutions

+ Ensure solution design and implementation is in compliance with corporate standards and policies

+ Verify accurate documentation and communication of products/applications implementation decisions

+ Remain current with industry trends to advise and advocate solution approaches for systems and applications to meet growing business needs

+ Provide effective communication that is both written and spoken with great follow-up skills

+ Drive outcomes and become the multidisciplinary expert that enables engagement

+ Operationalize projects and automations

What You'll Need

Required:

+ Bachelor or Master of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Math, or equivalent work experience

+ 8+ years of information technology experience, with 4+ years of specialization in Information Security roles that include multiple areas of specialization

+ Specific technical skillsets including:

+ Data Science (e.g., Databricks)

+ PowerBI/Tableau

+ Metrics and Reporting Experience

+ IAM (Active Directory, EntraID)

+ Networking Concepts; Zero-Trust

+ Python and other coding languages

+ Experience working with AWS, Azure, and Oracle Cloud

+ Experience with various AI technologies

Preferred:

+ Industry-recognized certifications (e.g., A+, Network+, Security+) are a plus

+ Experience working in large, cross-functional teams in a globally diverse model

Physical Demands

+ Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards

+ Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

+ Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

The pay range for this position is $53.00-$58.00 per hour (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave as provided by applicable law.
