Maxim Healthcare Services in Orange County, CA is looking for a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to assume responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care. The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) will consistently perform according to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care. Gtube, Trach and Vent management experienced nurses are encouraged to apply!

Types of schedule opportunities:
7AM-3PM ; 3PM-11PM ; 11PM-7AM
Responsibilities:
+ Deliver individualized nursing care to pediatric patients in their home
+ Administer medications, treatments, and therapies per the care plan
+ Monitor and document patient status, vitals, and progress
+ Provide support with tracheostomy care, G-tube feedings, seizure precautions, and/or ventilator management (if applicable)
+ Support patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and bedtime routines
+ Communicate effectively with the family, care team, and Maxim clinical supervisor
+ Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the evening shift
Qualifications
Current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) License in the state in which the Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) practices.
Current Health Certificate (per facility).
Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
Current BLS card.
One year prior Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) experience preferred.
