    Minimum qualifications:

    + Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

    + 5 years of experience in program management.

    + Experience with manufacturing operations for electrical equipment and hardware.

    + Experience in managing New Product Introduction (NPI) programs and the product life-cycle (PLC).

    Preferred qualifications:

    + MBA or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research, Operations Engineering or other relevant field.

    + 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

    + Experience in Design and Manufacturing in a New Product Introduction (NPI) role.

    + Experience in multiple aspects of hardware operations.

    + Knowledge about typical hardware build of materials, process documentation and assembly and test processes.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

     

    Behind everything users see online is the architecture built by the Technical Infrastructure team to keep it running. From developing and maintaining data centers, to building the next generation of Google platforms, the team makes Google's product portfolio possible.

     

    The team's mission is to accelerate the Delivery of Data Center Equipment for Google Cloud with scale and agility by leveraging Manufacturing Operations knowledge to launch, ramp, and sustain products through the Equipment Supply Chain.

     

    The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.     + Lead cross-functional Program teams within Google and with external partners to prepare for production ramp or product transitions.

    + Plan and execute operations development activities and ensure transition to production within cost, quality, and capacity parameters, and ensure production ramp meeting program goals.

    + Manage ramp readiness with internal teams as well as external partners (e.g., material availability, cost/assembly/test/BOM/capacity readiness and transition plans).

    + Drive cross-functional teams to optimize the supply chain for specific strategic reasons, while accounting for risks, changes in schedule, or demand.
