LINE AND STAFF RELATIONSHIPS
The Workforce Program Managerreports to the Executive Director of Workforce.
GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY
Workforce Program Manager is pivotal in supporting and managing various administrative and operational aspects of workforce programmatic activities within the organization. This position involves assisting non-credit workforce development initiatives through program development and support in admissions, customer service, compliance, data entry, and marketing. The Program Manager will be directly responsible for the day-to-day operations for non-credit courses, supporting search for non credit course Instructors and students, approving time for non-credit Instructors, assist in record keeping for credentials and certificates, support marketing efforts and tracking for future marketing areas.
This position plays a crucial role in supporting the success and effectiveness of workforce development in all industry sectors.
Minimum Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree or higher;
+ Substitution: Associate’s degree plus three years of experience
+ Knowledgeoffederal,state,andlocalworkforceeducationpolicy;
+ Two years of experience in administration, reporting, and accountability principles; and
+ Preferred:
+ 1 to 5 years’ experience with BANNER or an educational institution learning management system.
+ SACSCOC Standards procedures, processes, and documentation requirements.
SKILLS:
+ High Proficiency in curriculum structure, development, and execution;
+ Proficiency in Finance relative to Program Operations, Financial Aid, and Strategic Planning; and
+ High Proficiency in computer skills for administration and programmatic applications, including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and computer-based testing environments.
Job Duties and Other Information
JOB DUTIES:
+ Assistance with administrative duties, audits, financial management, marketing. registration management, and overall support for all non-credit and credit workforce development activities.
+ Assist in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts and industry partners to create Workforce program curricula.
+ Initiate and drive the search for non-credit workforce course instructors and students.
+ Receive and secure program needs, attendance, and supply requests of non-credit instructors.
+ Assist in keeping records for credentials and certificates for Workforce Instructors and students.
+ Supervise and ensure the data entry for Workforce programs’ learning management system (LMS) for course development and addition/subtraction of students.
+ Assist in onboarding procedures for Workforce personnel.
+ Assist in creating, revising, course class and section.
+ Answer ALL Workforce telephone and in-person requests for Workforce programs and offerings.
+ Keep track of inventory and submit orders for Workforce class purchases.
+ Assist in ensuring all RPCC and business & Industry individuals have room reservations and supplies/materials/equipment needed to start the course.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
