    Summary:

    Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, this role will provide support to the Purchasing Department, ensuring efficient management of system documentation, and technical specifications.

    Essential Duties:

    + Provides support, information and assistance with the initiation, investigation, submission, and closure of the following documents:

    + Change Controls (CC’s)

    + Management of Change (MOC’s)

    + Technical Specifications

    + Report appropriate KPI’s relating to the role.

    + Assists the Purchasing function in NPI projects to ensure the necessary documentation is completed and reviewed as required.

    + To undertake such tasks and to manage specific or ad hoc projects as and when required to meet department and business needs and within the scope of the job-holder’s capabilities

    + Provide backup to Buyers as required

    + Technical assistance in relationship management between external suppliers and internal stakeholders

    + Collaborate with procurement officers, legal teams, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather and verify technical and regulatory information.

    + Ensure all documentation complies with internal standards and external regulations (e.g., FAR, UCC, ISO).

    + Maintain version control and document management systems.

    + Translate complex procurement and legal language into clear, user-friendly content.

    + Conduct periodic reviews and updates of existing documentation to reflect process or regulatory changes.

    Requirements:

    + Minimum 2 years of working in the pharmaceutical industry, including pharmaceutical GMPs, medical office experience, or related experience.

    + Keen attention to detail

    + Maintains knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices.

    + Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written for liaising with internal teams and external suppliers

    + Previous experience in computer administration (MS Office, ERP, MasterControl)

    + Strong time management and organizational skills

    **For candidates in Illinois:** This position's base salary hiring range is $41,520-$45,672, plus an annual performance bonus eligibility. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including but not limited to specific and relevant experience, education, credentials, geography, and subject matter expertise.
