Customer service position providing access credentials to visitors at Arnold Air Force Base, as well as identification cards (military ID and other common access cards) to base employees.

Responsibilities

+ Conduct verification and issue all Department of Defense (DoD) credentials to military, military retirees, and military dependents, DoD civilians and base contractor personnel

+ Use Air Force systems and workstations to issue the Common Access Card (CAC)

+ Update CACs as necessary to reflect changes in personal information

+ Terminate CACs as necessary and execute revocation requests

+ Explains military ID policies and entitlements to customers

+ Issue other base access credentials to visitors such as vendors and test customers

+ Account for and maintain security for all DoD Forms used in producing base credentials

+ Verify, prepare and issue various types of entry and identification credentials

+ Responsible for protecting the privacy/confidentiality of personnel data

+ Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

+ Must be a U.S. Citizen to work at Arnold AFB

+ Must be able to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance

+ Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent

+ Must be able to maintain qualification and authority to carry firearms

Desired Qualification:

+ Two-year’s work experience in a related position such as driver’s license agency, bank teller, office assistant or similar setting dealing with the public
