    Position Title Adjunct Faculty-Anatomy & Physiology

     

    FLSA Exempt

     

    Full Time/Part Time Part Time

     

    Department Biology

     

    Campus Central Campus

     

    Location Central Campus

     

    Salary Per Adjunct Pay Scale

     

    Hours Part-time, include requirement and total hours per week - Day, Evening and/or Weekends as needed

    Summary of Position

    To teach lecture and/or lab courses as assigned by the Department Chair. Selected applicants will be interviewed to establish a pool of approved Biology instructors for possible Part-Time teaching assignments in the Science Department.

     

    Minimum Required Education

     

    Master’s degree with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in Anatomy & Physiology and or related courses from a regionally accredited institution of higher education.

     

    Minimum Required Experience

     

    Community college and/or secondary teaching experience preferred.

    Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    + To teach and prepare in-person lectures and labs in one or more of the following courses:

    + BIOL 2401 – Anatomy & Physiology I

    + BIOL 2402 – Anatomy & Physiology II

    + Ability to communicate with written and oral expertise in the English language.

    + Ability to promote an effective environment for learning in lecture and lab experiences.

    + Ability to teach students from diverse cultural and social backgrounds.
