Work hours: 7:00 am - 8:30 am AND/OR 2:15 pm - 6:00 pm
Qualifications:
+ High School Diploma or equivalent
Compensation:
+ $16.00 per hour
Starting Date:
+ September 4, 2025, or as soon as practical
JOB DESCRIPTION
Primary Role:
The assistant teacher will report directly to the lead teacher at their site. They will be responsible for the daily implementation of the programs at their site.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist Lead Teacher with planning and implementation of programs for children
• Be a team player
• Maintain good rapport and communication with parents
• Maintain confidentiality
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for children and staff
• To report to assigned job on time and maintain a good attendance record
• Other duties as assigned
Expectations:
• Report to work on time
• Maintain a responsible attendance record
• Professional behavior at all times including a high level of confidentiality
Required Skills / Minimum Abilities:
+ Assistant teachers must have a minimum a high school diploma and substantial experience working with children under the age of 12 years old.
+ Knowledge of the developmental characteristics of early adolescents/adolescents; ability to work successfully with students; excellent interpersonal skills.
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
