Job Description:
Associate/Vice President,** **Trading Analytics Product Developer
We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled individual to join our Front Office Global Markets team, working directly with Traders to deliver the next generation of data-driven trading analytics. This is a Trading Floor-based role and plays a critical part in turning complex data into actionable insights that drive trading performance.
The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering/development background and a passion for building impactful front-office tools. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining UIs, chatbot intents, and applications using internal GenAI capabilities and modern development frameworks. A demonstrated ability in data analysis and visualization is essential.
This role requires intellectual curiosity, energy, and motivation to tackle both business and technical challenges, with a willingness to learn new skills across domains—from front-end engineering to data modelling and platform integration. You’ll thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced Trading Floor environment, working closely with Traders, Quants, and Technologists.
Required Skills & Experience:
+ High motivation and desire to understand the business and adopt new technologies as needed
+ Strong teamwork and collaboration in high-pressure environments
+ Excellent communication skills for engaging with Sales, Trading, Product, and Technology teams
+ Modern Python development expertise with sound engineering practices (modular structure, documentation, testing, CI/CD)
+ Front-end development using JavaScript/HTML
+ Working knowledge of Unix/Linux systems and SQL databases
+ Understanding of system design patterns
+ Ability to iterate from Minimum Viable Product (MVP) to production-ready applications with close user collaboration
+ Strong focus on automation and observability/instrumentation
Preferred Skills & Experience:
+ Data visualization experience using Tableau or similar tools
+ Willingness and ability to learn new languages/tools (e.g., 3forge, kdb+/q)
+ Exposure to real-time trading systems, and experience working with large data sets, data quality controls, data validation, and data modelling/entitlements
+ Familiarity with financial instruments across equities, options, FX, and futures
