Responsibilities
+ Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan installation of a new system or modification of an existing system.
+ Develop or direct software system testing or validation procedures, programming, or documentation.
+ Design and implement complex requirements to accomplish business goals and strategies by handling platform development initiatives from idea creation through deployment.
+ Ensure that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements.
+ Ensure solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset.
+ Participate in identifying customer needs, design solutioning, and estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle.
+ Design and implement data frameworks, algorithms, and controls in the financial risk management systems.
+ Design and implement database solutions using Unix Shell Scripting, Oracle PL and SQL for data transfer and migration.
+ Design, implement, and maintain ETL process for integrating data from multiple systems while ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and quality leveraging ETL tools including TALEND and DataStage.
+ Generate data analytics and reports to support business decisions using various tools and data sources including UNIX, PL, and SQL.
+ Use data modelling techniques and normalization techniques to design data models using RDBMS tools including Power designer, Visio, and Erwin.
+ Assess and maintain data quality using Oracle PL and SQL, data warehousing and modelling concepts, ETL, and BI reporting.
+ Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.
Required Skills & Experience
+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Engineering (any), or related: and
+ 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.
+ Must have 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation. Must include 5 years of experience in each of the following:
+ Designing and implementing data frameworks, algorithms, and controls in the financial risk management systems;
