Responsibilities

About the role

The purpose of a Machine Maintenance technician is to inspect andrepair molding machines as directed by the Molding Machine Maintenance Manageror Molding Maintenance Lead.

As part of the Molding team you'll be responsible for....

+ Must be trained on, understand and follow all Amcor Safety Absolutes

+ Perform preventive maintenance procedures as specified.

+ Complete work assigned by Manager or Lead person.

+ Communicate activities with Manager and other members of the department.

+ Maintain neat and orderly appearance of plant and molding machines.

+ Assist in other departments as requested by Manager or Lead person.

+ Seek training to stay current with job requirements.

+ Assume control of machine when a situation arises which has potentialfor personal injury or rapid deterioration of machine.

+ Inspect and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, electronic, electrical and mechanical systems on molding machines.

+ Responsibilities and Authority include assuring compliance with federal, state, government and/or any appropriate regulatory law or guidelines

Qualifications

Qualifications/Requirements

+ High school diploma or equivalent.

+ Trade School, Technical, or Mechanical certificate a plus

+ Mechanically inclined.

+ Self-starter with eagerness to learn and take initiative.

+ Ability to work with minimal supervision.
