The Department of Health Policy and Management is seeking a **_Research Assistant_** . The Research Assistant will conduct research on population mental health, assets, and policy interventions. Projects include analyzing complex longitudinal data microsimulation modeling, and evaluation of the economic and health impacts of policy interventions. Additional projects include reviewing the literature on financial assets and mental health, conducting secondary analysis of national mental health data, and assisting with the creation of manuscripts and abstracts for submission.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
+ Conduct cross-sectional and longitudinal data analysis using large national datasets.
+ Contribute to the development and implementation of simulations models to evaluate policy outcomes.
+ Conduct literature reviews and synthesize findings.
+ Synthesize evidence (including data extraction).
+ Draft sections of reports, abstracts, and manuscripts.
+ Prepare abstracts and manuscripts for submission.
+ Conduct other research tasks as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree in related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Master’s Degree in a related discipline.
+ Proficiency with Stata and experience working with large-scale survey or administrative data.
+ Familiarity with simulation modeling methods (e.g., microsimulation or Markov models).
