Position Summary:
Our client is rebuilding its SBA loan closing team after a strategic transformation and is seeking an experienced SBA Loan Closing Manager to lead the charge. This is a unique opportunity to help shape a newly aligned operations model within Lending and Trade Services (LTS). Ideal candidates are change agents with deep expertise in SBA lending, loan closing operations, SOP compliance, and systems such as nCino and Salesforce.
This is a Hybrid Position, onsite 3-4 days a week, located in Dallas, TX. The Dallas location is preferred, but candidates located in Kalamazoo, MI, Houston, TX, or Austin, TX may be considered.
Essential Duties:
Lead and manage the SBA loan closing function, overseeing the full lifecycle from underwriting handoff to booking.
Direct the daily operations of a growing loan closing team, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and SLA adherence.
Drive strategic improvements in SBA loan closing processes and implement a consistent national model.
Partner with Credit, Legal, Compliance, and Technology teams to ensure seamless execution and risk mitigation.
Support ongoing AFS Vision implementation and LTS realignment initiatives.
Monitor performance metrics and develop training plans to build a high-performing, engaged team.
Qualifications:
10+ years in commercial lending or financial services, with 7+ years in SBA loan operations.
Demonstrated leadership in SBA loan closing, including pre- and post-closing processes.
Deep knowledge of SBA SOPs and experience with SBA platforms (E-Tran, SBA One, CAFS).
Proficiency with nCino, Salesforce, and related loan origination systems.
Excellent project management and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset.
Bachelor's degree preferred (HS diploma/GED + relevant experience accepted).
Travel Requirements: No travel will be required, unless at the client's discretion.

Salary Range: SolomonEdwards values your unique and individual experience and background. As such, we take a comprehensive approach when determining compensation for our roles. The compensation for this specific role is based on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to education, licensure and certifications, location, experience, and training. A reasonable estimate for the current hourly range for this role is $75 – 80.
