Clearance- TS/SCI w/ FSP

Salary- 185k-195k/yr

Position Overview

We are looking for **experienced Systems Engineers** to join a highly technical and impactful government program. This role supports a sophisticated enterprise infrastructure environment encompassing:

+ **Network infrastructure**

+ **End-user computing**

+ **Data center servers**

+ **Multi-cloud and virtualized environments**

+ **Containerized applications**

You’ll contribute to both on-premise and cloud-based systems, supporting secure, scalable, and high-performance computing environments in one of the most complex and high-profile missions in the government space.

Required Education, Experience & Skills

+ **11+ years** of relevant IT experience

+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred)

+ Deep expertise in **Linux systems administration** including:

+ **Red Hat** , **CentOS** , **Rocky Linux**

+ **BASH scripting** and Linux command line

+ Experience providing:

+ **Operations & Maintenance (O&M)** support

+ **Linux engineering** and **infrastructure administration**

+ Ability to perform systems engineering across large enterprise environments

Core Duties Include:

+ Execute system design and software development across diverse Linux platforms

+ Provide technical leadership in **automation tools** and **software engineering practices**

+ Analyze functional applications and design technical specifications

+ Generate technical documentation and assist in setting IT standards

+ Develop and maintain baseline systems

+ Monitor server loads and assists with system tuning

+ Fulfill O&M support duties including on-call coverage, patching, and updates

Preferred Skills & Technologies

+ Scripting expertise in **Python** and **BASH**

+ Experience with cloud platforms:

+ **Amazon Web Services (AWS)**

+ **Microsoft Azure** , **Google Cloud** , etc.

+ Familiarity with **Infrastructure as Code** tools:

+ **Ansible** , **Puppet** , **Terraform** , **CloudFormation**

+ Knowledge of modern cloud service models ( **IaaS** , **PaaS** , **SaaS** )

+ Experience with **Containers-as-a-Service (CaaS)** using **Kubernetes** or **OpenShift**
