    Position Overview

    We are seeking a **Material Recovery Facility (MRF) Operations Supervisor** to lead our team in **Plainfield, IL** . In this role, you’ll oversee daily operations, ensure safety and compliance, and drive performance at our recycling facility.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Supervise and assign work crews operating post-collection and recycling equipment

    + Monitor daily operations and adjust staffing as needed

    + Conduct field inspections and safety audits

    + Manage environmental and OSHA compliance programs

    + Handle customer feedback and resolve service issues

    + Lead performance reviews and employee development

    + Set and execute short- and long-term operational goals

    + Support budget planning and Servant Leadership initiatives

    + Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    + **Bachelor’s degree** strongly preferred

    + Prior experience in **solid waste, recycling, or facility operations**

    + Strong leadership and communication skills

    + Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

    + Capable of lifting 50 lbs and working in all weather conditions
