    • **Location:** Altamonte Springs, FL (Orlando)

    • **Pay:** $25–$35/hr. (Based on Experience + Overtime)

    • **Schedule:** Monday – Friday, Every Other Saturday | 2PM to 2AM (55-60 Hours/Week)

    **Waste Connections, Inc.** is looking for a skilled and motivated Diesel Mechanic to join our high-performing team in Altamonte Springs, FL. If you have experience in the Waste or Recycling industry, that’s a huge plus—but not required.     • **The Job:**

    + Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on Diesel Trucks and Heavy Equipment.

    + Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems.

    + Use onboard computer systems to identify and resolve vehicle issues.

    + Complete work orders and documentation using our fleet maintenance software.

    + Respond to emergency breakdowns and perform on-site service calls.

    + Ensure a clean, safe, and OSHA-compliant work environment.

    • **Requirements:**

    + 2+ Years of hands-on Diesel Mechanic experience (Waste Industry preferred)

    + Strong knowledge of DPF Regeneration Systems (especially CUMMINS and MACK)

    + Welding/Fabrication skills are a big plus!

    + Must have your own tools.

    + Comfortable working 2nd shift (2PM – 2AM)

    + Basic computer skills for Diagnostics and Documentation

    + Commitment to safety practices and PPE usage
