    The Phelps-Clifton Springs Central School District has an opening for an LTS Elementary Teacher. The successful candidate will need to:

     

    + Demonstrate fluent understanding of NYS Learning Standards;

    + Demonstrate strong skills and knowledge in ELA, literacy, and mathematics;

    + Maintains a recovery mindset;

    + Demonstrate an understanding of differentiated and blended learning;

    + Effectively manage several students and/or projects at the same time in a high-paced environment;

    + Able to build a positive rapport with students and parents;

    + Demonstrate the willingness to work with different learning styles and learning needs;

    + Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills;

    + Demonstrate ability to work effectively with colleagues with successful experience in working as part of a team;

    Job Qualifications

    + + Completion of a NYS Registered Program – Early Childhood Education (Birth – Grade 2) and Childhood Education (Grades 1-6)

    + Institutional Recommendation – Early Childhood Education (Birth -Grade 2) and Childhood Education (Grades 1-6)

    + New York State Teacher Certification Exam – Educating All Students Test (EAS)

    + Content Specialty Test (CST) – Multi-Subject: Teachers of Early Childhood (Birth -2) and Teachers of Childhood (Grade 1-Grade 6)

    + edTPA – Elementary Education or other NYSED Approved Certified Pathway

    + Workshop – Dignity For All Students Act

    + Fingerprint Clearance
