Job Description

Join our rehab team as a Physical Therapy Assistant, working under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients improve movement and function. You'll guide therapy sessions, educate patients and families, track progress, and keep things organized and safe. You may also assist with supervising PTA students.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Carry out physical therapy plans developed by a Physical Therapist

+ Communicate clearly with therapists, doctors, and team members

+ Document treatments accurately

+ Help maintain a clean, safe therapy environment

+ Support equipment upkeep and supply inventory

+ Participate in team meetings, training, and quality improvement efforts

+ Stay current with clinical skills and compliance standards

Requirements:

+ Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in Missouri

+ Strong communication skills

+ Physical ability to demonstrate therapy techniques

+ BCLS certification required

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Associate degree from an accredited PTA program

+ One year of hospital experience
