    Pay Range: $20 to $24

    Job Summary

    Summary: Perform job duties required to maintain kitchen work areas, kitchen equipment in clean and orderly condition at Camp Randall Stadium and Kohl Center. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

     

    + Supervises dishwashers.

    + Leads a team to complete deep cleaning projects and preventative maintenance on a seasonal basis.

    + Washes dishes, pots, pans, utensils and other food preparation machines and equipment.

    + Sweeps and mops floors at appropriate intervals to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.

    + Operates large electric machines such as dishwashers, sanitizers, and trash compactors.

    + Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and all other food prep surfaces as assigned.

    + Removes trash/recycling and places into designated containers. Cleans waste containers in appropriate areas.

    + Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas observing all safe lifting standards.

    + Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment as needed.

    + Complete loading or unloading deliveries Monday - Friday.

    + Reports damaged or expiring products during deliveries and daily checks.

    + Maintains kitchen stock of daily use items such as gloves, food wrap, chemicals, trash bags, etc...

    + Complete daily cooler & freezer temperature logs.

    + Complies with all outlined sanitation and safety requirements.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    Job Requirements:

    + Excellent communication skills.

    + Basic understanding of QR codes and able to use mobile phone to complete daily checklists.

    + Ability to lift 50 pounds.

    + Ability to speak English & Spanish is preferred.

    + Ability to lead others.

    + Servsafe Food Handler Certification is preferred.

    + Hours of required availability: 9am - 7pm

    + Able to lead the team closing the kitchen on major event days (Football Games and Concerts) hours vary per event day.
