Overview

About the Role:

The Account Supervisor is a brand champion. They provide strategic input, tactical planning and direction on their account. They have direct management responsibilities. The Account Supervisor builds and maintains positive, lasting client relationships based on effectively achieving the client’s marketing objectives and in a manner that results in agency profit.

Responsibilities

+ Constant, positive client contact with key clients

+ Ensures client is kept apprised of all account activity: this includes ultimate responsibility for ensuring that appropriate written reports are delivered accurately and quickly

+ Thoroughly understands, communicates and advocates the agency POV

+ Ensures everyone focused on brand strategy and positioning: client, account team, and other internal departments

+ Encourages creative, outside of the box thinking and is always looking for ways to level up our capabilities through the use of varying POVs and the use of emerging technologies

+ Supervises and effectively manages the production of client-approved marketing tools

+ Creative: Provides clear strategic direction to creative team; evaluates creative product against strategic direction and provides constructive feedback. Aims for breakthrough creative. Collaborates on creative brief development

+ Management: team leader, resolves conflict, provides clear and fair direction and feedback to junior account staff

+ Manage client demands vs. budgets

+ Raises client awareness as to when changes in client direction affect estimates

+ Financial knowledge and control over budget.

+ Thorough knowledge of contract and its implications. Sound decision making regarding hours dedicated to jobs, what to prioritize.

Qualifications

About You:

+ You provide outstanding client service and partnership in a way that solves problems for our clients versus just playing a transactional role

+ You have pharma advertising experience with HCP and/or DTC brand work along with the enthusiasm to gain a wholistic understanding of and jump into both

+ You possess curiosity, enthusiasm and maybe even some experience in emerging technologies such as AI and how they can strengthen creative offerings within our industry

+ You have strong strategic thinking abilities and understand how to read and apply data as you build work

+ You're a leader who wants to mentor junior members of your team and comes with 1-2 years of managerial experience/direct reports

+ You have a fun and curious approach to work and enjoy spreading that culture throughout your immediate and greater teams

+ You share in our vision of welcoming and championing unique POVs and representation

Compensation Range: $73,910 - $116,380 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
