Overview

This is a hybrid role and requires being in our Birmingham, MI office 3x a week.

As a Senior Associate, AEM Developer, you’ll use your problem-solving creativity to design, architect, and develop high-end technology solutions that solve our clients’ most sophisticated and challenging problems across different industries. You will serve as an authority on AEM and implement strategies using components of the Adobe AEM platform to support multi-site, multi-channel, multi-lingual delivery environments.

Responsibilities

+ Develop Digital Consumer experiences using Adobe’s AEM product suite, including WCM and DAM.

+ Develop powerful features such as multi-site and multi-channel delivery, personalization/targeting, content aggregation & syndication, multi-lingual support, automated workflow management, social media etc.

+ Develop and oversee OSGI bundles, AEM templates, HTL/Sightly components and services, AEM launches, workflows, localization features, Forms applications and the AEM DAM.

+ Drive the design, planning, and implementation of complex applications, giving you breadth and depth of knowledge across the entire project lifecycle.

+ Combine technical expertise and problem-solving passion to work closely with clients, turning complex ideas into end-to-end solutions that transform our clients’ business.

+ Constantly innovate and evaluate new technologies and methods to provide scalable and sophisticated solutions that help clients achieve their business goals.

Qualifications

+ 3-5 years with 2-3 years of AEM including AEM 6. x. Required

+ Strong hands-on experience in Components, Templates, Taxonomy, metadata management, Forward and Reverse Replication, workflow, Content Publishing and un-publishing, Tagging, Analytics, Deployment(Maven), and Content migration/ planning.

+ Significant hands-on design experience with AEM and very strong concepts of OSGi, Apache Sling, Apache Sightly, Apache Oak, and Adobe Dispatcher

+ Has worked on and implemented at least one of the popular Search engines with AEM like Solr, ElasticSearch, or Lucene and is involved in search queries performance tuning.

+ Worked on integrations with popular products /Technologies like Salesforce, SSO, LDAP, and API Gateways using REST

+ Understands and implements the Quality Properties of the system in everyday work including Accessibility, SEO, URL management, Security, Performance, and Responsive architecture.

+ Has implemented Quality Processes for projects like Continuous Integration (Bamboo/Jenkins/Git/BitBucket/Cloud Manager), SonarQube, Code reviews (Manual and Automated), code Formatters, Automation testing, etc.

+ Understanding of frontend technologies like ReactJS, Handlebars, Grunt, Angular, CSS3, HTML 5, and jQuery.

+ Mastery of all core web and Java technologies including Java 8/11, JEE, XML, XHTML, client/server-side scripting languages such as JavaScript, and JSP, HTL, and web services development using Restful implementations.

+ A good understanding of AEM capabilities including Multi-site manager (MSM) and Blueprinting, and the use of Online marketing components such as sophisticated targeting/personalization, and multi-variate testing, is preferred.

+ Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience in the military

Additional Skills:

+ Knowledge of Cloud-native approaches and platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP. Understanding of AEM as Cloud Service.

+ Full Stack Development Expertise: Possess extensive experience in both front-end and back-end development, with a strong understanding of modern web technologies and frameworks.

+ Proficient in Multiple Languages: Demonstrated expertise in languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, or others, with a deep understanding of their ecosystems and standard methodologies.

+ Backend Mastery: Proficiency with server-side technologies and frameworks such as Node.js, Django, or Spring Boot, with experience in building RESTful APIs.

+ Database & Cloud Skills: Strong knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and familiarity with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

+ DevOps & CI/CD: Practical experience in implementing DevOps practices and working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Travis CI, or GitHub Actions.

+ Security & Performance Awareness: Capable of conducting performance optimizations and applying security standard processes within web applications.

+ - Familiarity with Adobe I/O Runtime and Adobe I/O Events.

Compensation Range: $72,390 - $95,200. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
