ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Organize workload in paint area

+ Set up and operate spray painting equipment

+ Paint product to meet specifications

+ Coordinate delivery of completed parts to finishing department

KNOWLEDGE /SKILLS ABILITIES:

+ Basic understanding of how to operate paint equipment

+ Understanding of lean manufacturing process

QUALIFICATIONS:

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ 0-1years previous experience

+ Experience or exposure to lean concepts preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

+ Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects

+ Climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting

+ The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data, viewing computer terminal, expansive reading, etc.

+ The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions
