    **Position:** Senior Python Software Engineer - DevOps Automation Specialist.

    **Location:** Onsite – Denver

    **Contract duration:** 6 months to 2 years

    **Contract Type:** W2 contract through Staffing Supplier

    **Hourly Rate:** $100-110

    Overview:

    We are seeking a professional software engineer with a minimum of 6 years of Python experience. The role involves automating complex DevOps solutions for a greenfield SaaS product hosted on AWS.

    Core Technical Skills:

    Python Development in Agile Environment:

    + Advanced Python programming and best practices (Required)

    + Docker containerization (Required)

    + RESTful API design and implementation (Required)

    + Unit testing frameworks (Required)

    + Security frameworks - API/CLI security, OAuth2, Okta, Keycloak (Required)

    + Experience with Scrum methodologies (Required)

    + Integration testing experience (Nice to Have)

    + Code coverage tools and practices (Nice to Have)

    + Package management with pipx and poetry (Nice to Have)

    Amazon EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service):

    + Proficiency with Kubectl/Kubernetes APIs and resource management (Required)

    + Distributed system troubleshooting (Required)

    DevOps & CI/CD:

    + Helm templating (Required)

    + Git/Gitlab workflows (Required)

    + ArgoCD application deployment and management (Nice to Have)

    + Argo Workflows creation and monitoring (Nice to Have)

    + GitLab project creation, file templating, and pipeline management (Nice to Have)

    + Exposure to IaC with Terraform (Nice to Have)

    Soft Skills:

    + Strong problem-solving abilities

    + Excellent communication skills for client interaction

    + Self-directed learning and research

    + Attention to detail for complex integrations

    + Ability to work independently in a low-supervision environment

    + Quality ownership mindset
