Job Description:

+ Strategic view and understanding of Siemens Opcenter Execution to lead design and development efforts across the Company.

+ Design, implement, and support manufacturing solutions in accordance to standard Company IT practices

+ Strong technical understanding and hands-on experience with Siemens Opcenter Execution modeling and development tools including Designer and Portal.

+ Strong technical understanding and hands-on experience with various technical capabilities like .Net, Javascript, SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, etc.

+ Engage with internal/external customers to analyze requirements from a business and systems perspective by interpreting business goals and objectives and translating them into technical solutions. Strong understanding of ERP, MES, shop floor controls and how they integrate to provide a complete solution to the plant.

+ Ensure that MES work is completed on schedule and that impacts to manufacturing systems are thoroughly documented and communicated by serving as the MES lead on global projects.

+ Create specifications for developers to use as direction for development.

Experience:

+ Experience developing in Siemens Opcenter Execution Designer and Portal. (2+ years desired)

+ 5+ years’ experience using programming languages such as .NET, C#

+ Experience working with IT systems in a 24/7 manufacturing environment

+ Experience working in a Scrum/Agile team.

+ Experience with Angular development

Skills:

+ Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.

+ Strong communication, presentation, organizational, facilitation and negotiation skills (including ability to “translate” between business and technology needs).

+ Proven track record of implementing IT solutions that make meet business demands and are technically sound.

+ Ability to continuously prioritize and multitask efficiently.

+ Ability to influence decisions with critical thinking based upon experience and grasp of the strategic intent of the project.

Education:

BS/MS in Computer Science /Systems Management/IT Related field (minimum required)
