    *Full time, Hybrid, 3 days/week in office*

    Job Description:

    + Safety and security have become more prevalent within the utility industry and equipment has become more intuitive. I am seeking a resource with a working knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical and its intelligent features.

    + These features include but are not limited to creating and understanding intelligent symbols, parts, metadata, catalog database, etc.

    + This resource will assist with our Protection and Controls standards in recreating our Vanilla AutoCAD standards into intelligent standards utilizing AutoCAD Electrical.

    + Minimum of 5 years AutoCAD Electrical experience is required.

    + The role requires a skilled AutoCAD Electrical Designer/Drafter to create intelligent 2-D panel layouts, schematics, and wiring diagrams for electrical substation equipment and power distribution systems.

    + The designer will create and manage intelligent Protection and Control (P&C) blocks, associate attribute information, and develop or convert P&C standards into smart drawings within the ACADE environment.

    AutoCAD Electrical Key Skills and Qualifications:

    + Creating detailed electrical schematics and wiring diagrams for industrial control panels.

    + Developing panel layouts and assembly drawings for electrical equipment.

    + Updating existing electrical drawings to reflect design changes and modifications.

    + Generating single-line diagrams and loop diagrams for electrical systems.

    + Collaborating with engineers to integrate electrical designs into larger construction or manufacturing projects.
