The candidate will support OPC's Technical Services Department with Mechanical Engineering and Inspections, Predictive/Preventive Maintenance Programs, and major outages at Oglethorpe Power's Rocky Mountain Pumped Storage Facility. The candidate will provide business, administrative, and technical support for Technical Services Associates and other personnel, as required. The candidate will also be provided opportunities to learn project-based work including the design of new plant systems, modifications to existing plant systems, planning, budgeting, and performance analysis for facilities owned/operated by Oglethorpe Power. As a member of Technical Services, the candidate will also be provided opportunities to participate in services such as the review of drawings, specifications, design memoranda, etc., for projects in development or under construction.

Job Duties:

+ Support OPC's Technical Services Department with Mechanical Engineering and Inspections, Predictive/Preventive Maintenance Programs, and major outages at plants owned/operated by Oglethorpe Power.

+ Provide business, administrative, and technical support for Technical Services Associates and other personnel, as required.

+ In conjunction with Technical Services Associates, review drawings, specifications, design memoranda, etc., for projects in development or under construction

+ Assist Technical Services Associates with the design of new plant systems or modifications to existing plant systems, planning, budgeting, and performance analysis for facilities owned/operated by Oglethorpe Power.
