    Lockheed Martin Space is seeking an experienced Systems Tester to join our team, responsible for designing, developing, and executing comprehensive testing strategies to ensure the quality and reliability of our systems\. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Systems Integration and test, test scripting, test management, and CI/CD pipelines, with experience in DevSecOps practices and tools such as Gitlab, Rancher, and Kubernetes\.

    Required Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with development teams to validate system requirements, using our test environments and tools \(Gitlab, Rancher, Kubernetes, etc\)\.

    • Develop and maintain test cases and test scripts to ensure thorough coverage of system requirements\.

    • Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies, including automated integration testing and requirement validation\.

    • Collaborate with cross\-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements\.

    • Design and develop test cases, test scripts, and test data to ensure thorough coverage of system functionality\.

    • Develop and maintain scripts and tools to support testing activities, using languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Ruby\.

    • Integrate scripts and tools with existing testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines\.

    • Manage and maintain test environments, including setup, configuration, and maintenance of test data and test infrastructure\.

    • Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects, using tools such as JIRA and Zephyr\.

    • Develop and maintain test metrics and reporting, providing insights into testing efficiency and effectiveness\.

    • Collaborate with development teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless and efficient testing of system functionality\.

    • Participate in DevSecOps practices, ensuring security and compliance are integrated into testing activities\.

    • Continuously monitor and improve CI/CD pipelines, using tools such as Gitlab CI/CD\.

    Desired Responsibilities:

    • Develop and maintain automated tests using tools such as Cypress, ensuring efficient and effective testing of system functionality\.

    • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, using tools such as Gitlab CI/CD\.

    • Continuously monitor and improve test automation frameworks and scripts\.

    • Develop and maintain automated integration tests, ensuring thorough coverage of system functionality and interfaces\.

    • Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve integration defects, using tools such as JIRA and Zephyr\.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Experience in software testing, scripting, and test management\.

    • Strong background in CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps practices, and Linux\-based testing\.

    • Experience with Gitlab, JIRA, Rancher, Kubernetes, or similar tools\.

    • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Ruby\.

    • Strong understanding of software development life cycles, including Agile and waterfall methodologies\.

    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross\-functional teams\.

    • Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex testing issues\.

    Desired Skills:

    • Experience with cloud\-based testing platforms and tools\.

    • Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker\.

    • Familiarity with security testing and vulnerability assessment tools\.

    • Certification in testing or related fields, such as ISTQB or CSTEWRe

    **Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration\.

    **Ability to Work Remotely:** Part\-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process\.

    **Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.

    **Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

    **Pay Rate:** The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York \(excluding most major metropolitan areas\), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 \- $184,115\. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location\. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only\. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as \(but not limited to\) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer\. **Benefits offered:** Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short\-Term Disability, Long\-Term Disability, 401\(k\) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays\. \(Washington state applicants only\) Non\-represented full\-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off \(PTO\) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays\. Represented full time employees accrue 6\.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays\. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year\. This position is incentive plan eligible\.
