Job Description
Responsible for supervision of site Security staff in order to provide protection of persons and property, prevention and detection of crime and the general maintenance of peace and order.Pursuant to New York State Criminal Procedural Law Section 2.10 designated members of the security force employed by Kaleida Health are legally empowered Peace Officers. These Officers will have jurisdiction on all property owned by Kaleida Health within and directly adjacent to the hospital buildings on the medical campus located between East North Street, Goodell Street, Main Street and Michigan Avenue in the City of Buffalo, County of Erie.
Education And Credentials
High School Diploma or GED required. Associate of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice, Criminology, or related area required.NYS Drivers License upon hire required. Peace Officer upon hire required. CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire required.
Experience
2 years of experience in Security Supervision required.
