    Position Description:** **LPN

    The LPN Inpatient responsibilities include:

    + Works in collaboration and under direction of a Registered Nurse and is responsible for delivery of patient care as directed for assigned patients including medication administration, therapy and interventions.

    + SIPP Only: Direct contact with the child and has primary responsibility for providing personal care, assistance and supervision to a child.

    + Successful completion of the 30 hour Florida Board of Nursing IV course during the first two weeks of the LPN internship; however this is not required for SIPP.

    Requirements:

    Certifications and Licensures:

    + LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse)

    + BLS

    + ACLS preferred

    Education:

    + High School or Equivalent

    Experience:

    + 6 months Acute Care as LPN

    + Or 6 months Acute Care as PCT

     

    Status:** **Full Time, Exempt: No

     

    Shift Hours:** **6:45pm - 7:15am

     

    Weekend Work:** **Every Other

    On Call:** **No
