We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity to join our esteemed team as the CUNY Midwifery Education Program Manager. This pivotal role is integral to the seamless planning and development of a CUNY Midwifery Education Program, offering a dynamic and multifaceted environment where your expertise can truly shine.
As the CUNY Midwifery Education Program Manager, and reporting to the Project Lead, you will play a crucial role in supporting our team with a variety of essential functions, including:
+ Working collaboratively with the CUNY Midwifery Education Program Leadership Team, Advisory Council, and Bronx Boro President’s Maternal Health Task Force to plan and advance the development of the CUNY Midwifery Education program.
+ Overseeing strategic planning and project management for the program.
+ Overseeing the scheduling and coordination of and follow up on planning meetings.
+ Providing administrative support to the program, including: managing budgets; procuring goods and services; overseeing personnel recruitment and hiring; and assuring payments to staff and consultants.
+ Assisting with the development of program plans, curricula and materials.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree and six years' relevant experience required.
Campus-specific qualifications
+ Master's degree in public health/public administration, business, organizational behavior, or related field and/or equivalent experience/training.
+ 3+ years of work experience in administrative operations in a health care, higher education or a related environment.
+ Advanced knowledge of maternal and reproductive health, rights and justice.
+ Demonstrated experience in financial and administrative operations, including financial analysis and reporting, scheduling, human resources, space planning and facilities management.
+ Advanced knowledge of computer applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
+ Advanced interpersonal and customer service skills including verbal and written communication, active listening, and critical thinking.
+ Strong ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality.
+ Ability to function highly independently and in situations where there is significant ambiguity.
+ Extremely strong judgment including ability to recognize when to involve leadership in problem-solving and decision-making.
+ Strong strategic planning and project management skills, including setting goals and objectives, and planning and coordinating tasks, timelines, resources, and budgets so as to assure project milestones and deliverables are met.
+ Strong planning and problem-solving skills, with the ability to summarize key information develop options for resolving issues, and clearly articulate recommendations.
+ Experience leading/supervising and managing staff, advisory board members and volunteers and managing performance.
+ Demonstrated background and skills working in the equity and inclusion space.
+ Knowledge of CUNY policies and procedures for procurement, budget, accounting and fund management, and personnel management is a plus.

Manages curriculum development and operations of a College's specialized academic program under the direction of a senior administrator.
- Implements and monitors a comprehensive academic program development plan; makes recommendations to improve department policies and procedures
- Assists Director with outcome assessment and strategic planning to further develop program offerings
- Prepares analytical and statistical reports for management
- Serves as resource expert regarding program policies and procedures
- May manage professional and/or clerical staff
- May act on behalf of Director in his/her absence
- Performs related duties as assigned.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
$96,602 - $100,329
Salary commensurate with education and experience.
Salaries will conform to the upcoming PSC salary schedule as applicable.
Position beyond June 30, 2026, is contingent upon available funding.
