    Job Description:

    *Highland Hospital is seeking a Full Time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (APP) to join its Ayrault Road/Fairport, Highland Women's Health Office. Candidates for this role would need to be available to work, Monday - Friday, Days. No weekends, holidays or on call required.

    *The selected candidate will work at the Fairport, NY Highland Women's Health Office, but may have meetings or early on training at the Highland Hospital or Culver Road Highland Women's Health Offices as well.

    Some duties include but are not limited to:

    The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) assesses, promotes and contributes to the quality care provided to patients and their families/support systems throughout the hospital continuum. The APP provides clinical leadership through advanced practice role-modeling and professional communication. Specialization includes in-depth graduate study of relevant theories and scientific knowledge related to a select patient population which promotes the ability to analyze and refine practice. In collaboration with the health care team, the APP monitors the clinical care of patients and provides clinical expertise to improve patient care and patient outcomes.

    Salary Range:

    $98,000.00 - $130,083.20 annually

Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations._

    Job Requirements:

    1. Education – Fulfilled the requirements to be a licensed NP or PA in NYS

    2. Experience – 3 to 5 years of clinical experience. Prefer specialization in ambulatory Women’s Health/OBGYN setting.

    3. License/Certification Required – Licensure to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the State of New York.

    4. Skills - Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Effective teaching skills. Proficient, efficient and safe independent clinical practice capability. Competent computer skills (MS Office software, keyboarding).
