Description
The Clinical Care Partner is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability under direct supervision of the Registered Nurse, provides support to the Pain Management Team by maintaining inventory to include chart supplies, patient educational supplies, and daily unit supplies. Performs basic patient care skills, follows infection control practices, assist in transfers and transport patients before and after procedures. Additionally, task include cleaning and preparing gurneys. Clinical Care Partner within the scope of practice assist with vital signs and transports patients ready for discharge under the discretion of the registered nurse. In addition, the Clinical Care Partners report any pertinent information to the Registered Nurse. Your shift may be variable to meet departmental needs.
Qualifications
Required:
+ Current California Certification of Nursing Assistant
+ Graduate from an approved nursing program
+ Knowledge of basic computer fundamentals
+ Ability to speak clearly and distinctly using appropriate English vocabulary and grammar
+ Ability to understand oral and written directives
+ Ability to read and write Standard English text
+ Ability to perform basic arithmetic computations (add, subtract, multiply, and divide)
+ Demonstrates an understanding of basic medical terminology and abbreviations
+ Ability to organize and prioritize work to complete assignments in a timely manner
