    We are seeking a **CMT Field Technician 1** to join our Charlotte, NC team! Come join us!

    Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    + Perform construction materials testing/inspection including, but not limited to: Soils sampling and testing, concrete sampling and testing, and various other testing and inspections.

    + Candidate must be able to communicate effectively and accurately prepare field reports in accordance with Atlas/ATC's report standards and applicable codes.

    Minimum requirements:

    + Willingness to travel to out-of-town jobs 50% of the time

    + High School Diploma or GED

    + ACI and Troxler Certification a plus

    + Ability to pass ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician—Grade I certification within 6 months

    + Valid Driver's License and able to pass MVR

    + Ability to pass background check

    Technical requirements:

    + Basic computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

    + Ability to work with other Atlas staff and contractors required.

    Other miscellaneous qualities:

    + ICC Certifications in soils, concrete and asphalt are desired/preferred

    + Ability to lift 50lbs

    + Ability to be outdoors or on your feet for an extended period of time
