Amazon’s Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband network connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.

    Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

    Key job responsibilities

    • Partner with Kuiper business (B2C, B2B, B2G) teams to define and drive improvements to demand forecast assumptions, granularity, and tooling.

    • Generate and scale use-cases for the constrained demand plan outputs from internal demand tools

    • Subject matter expert for use of the bandwidth constrained demand forecast by downstream Business, Finance, and Supply Chain stakeholders.

    • Conduct trainings, provide guidance, and triage issues related to bandwidth constrained demand plan publishes

    • Perform scenario analysis for demand planning, business development and supply planning stakeholders.

    • Partner closely with CT (customer terminal) Planning team to deliver monthly demand recommendations for customer hardware build decisions.

    Basic Qualifications

    - Bachelor's degree or equivalent

     

    - 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

     

    - Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

     

    - Experience as a product manager or owner

     

    - Strong grasp of business and financial fundamentals

     

    - Experience with financial modeling

    Preferred Qualifications

    - MBA

    - Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights

     

    - Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

     

    - Background in related fields such as finance or supply chain

     

    - Expert-level Excel (including macros, VBA)

     

    - Knowledge of Python a plus

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
