As a **Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol - Overnight** in **Ann Arbor, MI** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. What You’ll Do:

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.

+ Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

+ Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and maintaining visitor logs as required by site procedures.

+ Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency situations by following established protocols and providing clear communication.

+ Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unauthorized activity and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.

+ Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.

+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
