Description We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. In this role, you will focus on scheduling patients for preventative healthcare screenings and providing exceptional service to support their healthcare needs. This is a Contract position where you will collaborate with experienced colleagues, gain hands-on training, and work independently in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
• Schedule patients for preventative health screenings, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Make 70-80 outbound calls daily to fill appointment schedules.
• Utilize computer systems to track and manage schedules effectively.
• Collaborate with experienced team members during training and transition to working independently.
• Maintain professionalism and adaptability while managing interruptions during the workday.
• Apply medical knowledge to enhance scheduling accuracy and patient understanding.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) and web-based applications to manage patient information.
• Provide quality assurance by verifying scheduled appointments and addressing discrepancies.
• Uphold business casual dress code while representing the organization.
• Follow established workflows and procedures to meet daily scheduling targets. Requirements • Previous experience in customer service or scheduling roles.
• Proficiency in computer systems for tracking and managing schedules.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and electronic medical records (EMR).
• Strong communication skills to handle high-volume outbound calls effectively.
• Ability to work independently after initial training.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage schedules accurately.
• Adaptability to interruptions and a fast-paced work environment.
