    SENIOR ASSOCIATE - AUDIT & ASSURANCE - Well Respected Public Firm in Sandy Springs

     

    My client, a respected and growing public accounting firm, is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Senior Associate to join its Audit & Assurance team. This position offers the chance to lead financial statement engagements for a diverse client base, including construction, real estate, employee benefit plans, non-profits, and closely held businesses.     Key Responsibilities:

    + Gain a comprehensive understanding of client operations, processes, and business objectives to effectively perform engagement procedures.

    + Prepare a variety of working papers and financial statements for engagement quality control review.

    + Develop and perform effective analytical procedures on account balances.

    + Work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.

    + Maintain open communication with engagement management regarding questions, issues, and project progress.

    + Build and develop client relationships by delivering exceptional client service.

    + Apply feedback to improve processes and minimize duplication of procedures.

    + Travel to client sites within the Atlanta Metro area as needed (less than 20% travel).

    Requirements

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.

    + CPA license or active CPA candidacy strongly preferred.

    + Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting preferred.

    + Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

    + Excellent attention to detail and critical thinking skills.

    + Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

    + Effective organization and time management skills.

    + Experience with Thomson Reuters AdvanceFlow or CaseWare is a plus.
