Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our growing data team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data architecture, ETL development, and cloud-based data platforms. You will play a critical role in building and maintaining scalable data pipelines that support analytics, reporting, and business intelligence initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines

+ Develop and optimize data architectures that support structured and unstructured data

+ Ensure the reliability and integrity of data by implementing robust quality checks and monitoring systems

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and Software Engineers

+ Implement and enforce best practices for data governance, privacy, and compliance

+ Maintain comprehensive documentation of data models, systems, and processes

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field

+ 3+ years of experience in a data engineering or related technical role

+ Strong proficiency in Python and SQL

+ Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, DBT)

+ Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform

+ Experience working with modern data warehouse platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)

+ Familiarity with data modeling, schema design, and performance tuning

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Experience with big data tools (Spark, Kafka, Hadoop)

+ Knowledge of CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code practices

+ Understanding of data privacy regulations such as GDPR or HIPAA
