Description
We are looking for a skilled Contracts Administrator to join our client's growing team in Arlington, Virginia. This role involves managing, reviewing, and negotiating federal and commercial contracts while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in contract lifecycle management and demonstrate a thorough understanding of government contracting processes.
Responsibilities:
• Draft, review, and manage various types of government contracts, including nondisclosure agreements, teaming agreements, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
• Interpret and apply regulations such as FAR, DFARS, and agency-specific guidelines to ensure compliance.
• Analyze contract terms to identify potential risks, ensure adherence to company policies, and maintain alignment with legal requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including business development, procurement, and legal, during proposal preparation and contract negotiations.
• Monitor deliverables, track obligations, and maintain accurate contract documentation throughout the lifecycle.
• Provide expert guidance on both government and commercial contracts, including product sales agreements.
• Support the negotiation of pricing and terms for commercial and federal contracts.
• Identify and address compliance issues related to contractual obligations and performance requirements.
Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in contract administration, management, or negotiation.
• Strong knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and other federal acquisition regulations.
• Demonstrated expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating government and commercial contracts.
• Proven ability to analyze contract terms and mitigate risk.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
• Experience managing contract deliverables and tracking performance obligations.
• Familiarity with product sales agreements and commercial negotiations.
• Understanding of FAR/DFARS clauses, CLIN structures, and deliverable tracking
• Prior experience supporting both government and commercial contract portfolios
• Ability to interface with cross-functional teams (e.g., BD, procurement, legal)
• Experience reviewing terms and negotiating contract language
• Comfortable working 2–3 days onsite weekly
• Bachelor’s degree or JD preferred
