Description We are looking for a meticulous and organized Vehicle Acquisition Clerk to join our team in Rochester, New York. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a vital role in ensuring our fleet management operations run smoothly, from vehicle registration to financial processing. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong administrative skills and a commitment to accuracy.
Responsibilities:
• Process expired plate renewal requests from branches and coordinate with the central office to address their needs.
• Assist in completing plate renewals for New York using company systems and ensure timely delivery to rental locations.
• Manage all vehicle titles and maintain accurate documentation for fleet tracking and reporting purposes.
• Facilitate the inspection and acceptance of newly purchased vehicles, ensuring proper documentation and readiness for fleet use.
• Print required stickers and documents for vehicles in the fleet to ensure compliance.
• Oversee the operational and financial installation of fleet vehicles for both daily rental and truck rental operations.
• Handle the registration and plating of new, used, and purchased vehicles to ensure they meet operational standards.
• Process vehicle payments using internal systems and communicate financial needs to the Business Management team.
• Coordinate the movement of documents between cities and administrative offices, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy.
• Provide prompt and detail-oriented communication with department personnel and branches to support fleet management operations. Requirements • Proficiency in data entry with a focus on accuracy and speed.
• Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges related to fleet operations.
• Familiarity with fleet vehicles and associated administrative processes.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for tracking and reporting purposes.
• Experience in maintaining vendor files and ensuring proper documentation.
• Solid administrative skills, including organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively communicate with team members and external stakeholders.
