Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Probate Secretary to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Chicago, Illinois. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to attorneys, ensuring efficient case management and seamless operations. This position is ideal for professionals with a background in legal support and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Manage court filings, including e-filing and maintaining accurate records of case submissions.

• Organize and maintain the attorney's calendar by scheduling appointments and tracking deadlines.

• Handle client communications professionally, providing updates and addressing inquiries.

• Utilize Clio software to save and manage legal documents efficiently.

• Record and monitor expenses using QuickBooks to support financial tracking.

• Docket key dates and deadlines to ensure timely case progression.

• Prepare dictation and other legal correspondence with attention to accuracy and detail.

• Coordinate meetings and appointments, ensuring smooth scheduling and communication. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a legal secretary or administrative role.

• Proficiency in e-filing and court filing processes.

• Familiarity with Clio software for legal case management.

• Knowledge of QuickBooks for expense tracking and financial recording.

• Strong organizational skills, particularly in calendar management and scheduling.

• Excellent communication skills for client interactions and correspondence.

• Ability to handle dictation and prepare precise legal documentation.

• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records.
